Since 1997, Aerobodies has provided federal and state agencies and private industry companies with a wide range of health, wellness, and program management services. Aerobodies requires Instructors for the Comprehensive Health and Wellness (CHW) program, which includes the planning and execution of courses in Idaho and in multiple locations across the nation in collaboration with a highly motivated team from across the nation.The CHW courses train leaders to accurately and ethically help their Service Members improve health and wellness. Leaders gain practical experiences addressing root cause behaviors for those they lead and in the organization they serve. Students learn to improve their own and others' life, health, and wellness with practical tools. The Idaho team focuses on several Lines of Effort. The successful applicant will assist with CHW, as well as several pilot programs in development. They would be responsible for contributing to content creation for these courses.
Required Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated practical experience in the area(s) of program development, human development, organizational leadership, relational leadership, military culture, counseling, and/or program management.
- A demonstrated capability in program/project coordination with (3) years ‘experience in a discipline centered on education, human development, public health, or social science.
- Experience in the Army or Air National Guard is desired, but not mandatory.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and a personally owned vehicle that can be utilized.
- Flexibility with work schedule is mandatory because it impacts the ability to support and serve the military.
- Travel is expected. Expenses associated with travel are paid based on the military’s Joint Travel Regulation. Instructors are not required to travel to each location for each course. Travel will be scheduled in coordination with the entire team of facilitators. Projected locations for 2023 are Ohio, Wisconsin, Idaho, Florida, Oklahoma, Connecticut, and Virginia (locations tentative and subject to change). For the remainder of the TY23 fiscal year, our frequency of travel will be significantly reduced.
- Work schedule: Availability the majority of the time Mon-Fri from 0800-1630. Tele-work should be reserved for extenuating circumstances.
Partial Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Plan, schedule, execute, and instruct CHW courses within Idaho and nationally:
• Communicate organizational and program needs for CHW training program.
• Manage program information for course/workbook.
• Assist with the continuity and expansion of the CHW Program.
• Develop Instructor Guides and assistance.
