Aerobodies requires an Instructor for the Idaho National Guard’s First Line Leader (FLL) Course, which includes course management and development. The curriculum will enable FLLs to effectively communicate and assist subordinates in all dimensions of Total Health to include financial, physical, emotional, intellectual, occupational spiritual, social and environmental wellness. Leaders will identify issues/concerns/risk factors and warning signs and learn to make appropriate referrals to resources available through J9 - Service Member and Family Support, other DoD, federal, state and local resources such as Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Tricare, Military OneSource (MOS), etc.
Required Qualifications:
Experience as a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) in the Army or Air National Guard is required.
Demonstrate practical experience in the area(s) of relational leadership and holistic health principles.
Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license and a personally owned vehicle that can be utilized.
Travel throughout Idaho is expected. Expenses associated with travel are paid based on the military’s Joint Travel Regulation.
Scheduling Details:
- Place and Performance of Services: Provide services between the hours of 0800-1630 on Monday through Friday, except on recognized US holidays or when the Government facility/installation is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility/installation closings; occasional weekend work may be required.
- Flexibility with work schedule is mandatory because it impacts the ability to support and serve the military.
- Partial telework is authorized with prior approval
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, schedule, execute, and instruct FLL courses within Idaho.
- Communicate organizational needs for the FLL program.
- Develop follow-on leadership development plan.
- Manage program information for course, Leader book, and Leadership Development Plan.
- Assist with the continuity and expansion of the FLL Program.
- Manage master calendar of FLL courses.
- Maintain Instructor Guides.
- Support program evaluations.
